Entries and Stabling
It is not possible to establish an accurate time schedule without pre-entries or to process entries received the night before the day of the show. Therefore, to avoid a late fee of $20, your faxed or mailed entries must be in our hands 24 hours before the first day of the show. Just call on your show day by 8:30 a.m. if you cannot attend (see Rule 5). There is no penalty on entry fees; scratch fees apply only to stabled horses. We realize that some will still prefer to post-enter. Therefore, approximate not-before times are the only alternative. Send mail to the address on the back of this prize list; fax 610-296-8668.

A SPECIAL STALL RATE OF $85 PER SHOW IF ENTERING IN AT LEAST TWO SHOWS! Stalls are permanent with doors or gates and no initial bedding. Payment in full is required 14 days prior. Or you may send a fax guaranteeing full payment whether or not you attend. Stalls are never refundable.

SHOW OFFICE telephone on show days is (610) 296-8668. Please check our website for any schedule changes, or call 610-296-8668 at 6:00 a.m. in cases of bad weather.

Parking in front of and across from the Indoor Ring is strictly for tractor trailers, large goosenecks and vans. Please park with the nose of your vehicle towards the indoors. No cars or trailers are allowed in this area. There is parking across from the outdoor ring, on the hill, in front of the house and in back.
Rules and Regulations
1. EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT USEF RULEBOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED THEREWITH.
2. All exhibitors must appear in proper attire with protective headgear as per USEF rules.
3. No person will be allowed in the ring during the judging unless on official business.
4. Outdoor ring is 100' x 250'; indoor ring is 85' x 250'. Custom blended footing is primarily bar sand with transverse drain pipes emptying into a French drain system. Both rings have automatic sprinklers for dust control. There are two permanent bathrooms in the Lounge.
5. Management and Ashley Meadow Shows, Inc., are not responsible for any accidents, financial loss, damages of any kind for any reason including financial loss or damage resulting from acts of God; there are no refunds for scratches after the start of the show. A refund will be granted only in the case of a stabled horse that receives a vet scratch presented to management by 9:00 on the morning the horse is due to show. A $30 processing fee will be charged and the refund will be mailed within 30 days from the show's conclusion. This is the only valid reason for a scratch and refund. Medical scratches do not qualify for a refund.
6. Management reserves the right to change the location of any class if necessary and to cancel or combine any classes if entries so warrant. All classes are judged on performance and soundness unless otherwise noted.
7. Before entering the show, exhibitors are obliged to know all applicable rules. Should any question or dispute arise that is not provided for in the rules, the same shall be referred to management, whose decision shall be final.
8. All exhibitors in Pony Hunter, Junior Hunter, and Children's Hunter Ponies must present their measurement cards to the Secretary, or Amateur Certification in Amateur divisions. Also please provide your Horse Recording Number or Identifications Number, as required.
9. No numbers will be issued until entries are paid or left with a signed, blank check, and all blanks are signed.
10. All protests will be handled in accordance with GR 602.
11. Controlled warmup: ten horses for six minutes. No horse/pony is allowed in the ring unless it is properly entered in the horse show AND is wearing back number. No horse/pony may be in the ring while the course is being set.
12. Prize money is credited against entries fees owed.
13. Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the advanced level, Dressage, Reining, and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides provided the respective breed/discipline dues or breed/discipline category fee has been paid. A non-member may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $20 non-member registration fee and a $5 breed/discipline category fee for each breed/discipline. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk/trot and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA endorsed Reining Competitions; 8) Opportunity classes; 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation; 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes. Please include the USEF Membership Numbers of the owner, rider and trainer/coach on all entry forms.
14. Management retains the right to cancel any division with fewer than the minimum required by the rules. If there are fewer than 8 horses or ponies in any "A" rated section, there will be a $25 surcharge. If there are only 3 entries in a division, there will be a surcharge of $35 if exhibitors wish to compete in a division of 3. If they prefer, the 3 exhibitors may sponsor and receive a $40 prize money credit against entry fees, with the balance retained by the show. Sponsorships will be considered if exhibitors wish. This must be arranged one hour before the start of the division. See bulletin board or call 610-296-8668. Management is not obliged to accept sponsorships.
15. In “A” rated divisions, where applicable, the conformation class is the second class over fences.
16. To calculate championships, all classes are full points, except model classes, which are half points (full points for Regular Conformation).
17. In Jumper classes, jump order is established by reverse order of entries received. Ties except for first are decided by the best time in the first round. Ties for first are jumped off. Management may elect to use sweepstakes; 60% of entry fees would be returned to exhibitors, 40% retained by the show.
18. Riders must observe the dotted line on all courses or be disqualified.
19. A $50.00 charge will be imposed for non-negotiable checks if payment for a returned check is made within 7 days of its return. Thereafter, the charge will be $100.00 plus any collection costs.
20. Dogs are never allowed in the lounge for health and sanitary reasons and elsewhere must be leashed.
